![]() ![]() I guess.ĭon’t believe me? Check out the eBay listing here: I guess it’s kinda cool in an unsettling, nauseating kind of way. If you wanted to, you could separate the drums…you would just have to break the hold of the glue.”īonus points for cutting the original hoop to bridge the shell gap. There is a hoop that helps join the 2 bass drums. I did try to separate the 2 drums, in order to reduce the shipping…but that’s not happening. Combined, the two bass drum make a single 28"x 24" bass drum. The drum was in this state when I got it. This bass drum was custom made by using (2) 14" x 24" bass drums. What in thee hell kinda redneck hillbilly hardware store bullshit is this? No offense, because I know someone put a hell of a lot of time and effort into this abomination…but I have to ask: ![]() I’ll eventually get to the Slingerland floor tom as that one is worth spending some time on a decent resto.ĭefinitely some dough to be made on these for sure.Īs seen on eBay this afternoon. I’m hoping for a quick flip on the Granny’s and the Premier snare. ![]() I did need some entry level snare stands though, as I seem to have an abundance of generic snare drums aching for stands and begging to be listed on Craigslist as $35 “student” snare drum kits. The rest is mostly junk …there’s a generic blue lacquer kick and rack tom, two most likely Remo rack toms smothered in stickers for that classy South Philly touch, a generic steel no name snare (with bonus Protection Racket soft case) and three junky snare stands. However, with all things Craigslist you take the good with the bad. Obviously, I was in it for the Granstars and was pleasantly surprised to find some other tasty treats. There was a very cool Premier Artist Maple snare, a white, Niles badge, 70′s Slingerland floor tom in salvageable shape, a DW 5000 pedal, a cymbal vault with three Zildjian cymbals (two badly cracked, one in damn near perfect shape and perfectly patina’d 80′s 18″ Medium Crash with logos intact), a pair of Sabian B8 hi hats, some decent Tama hardware and a Gibraltar throne. I saw these listed late yesterday afternoon and was quick to pull the trigger on them this morning with an email to the seller. I dragged this nice little drum lot out of a damp and dusty basement in the bowels of South Philly today. ![]()
